To apply for admission to the Master of Business Administration program, individuals must take the following steps:
The Graduate Admission Committee will consider any exceptions to the above criteria. (The Graduate Admission Committee is made up of the Director of the MBA program and one other at-large member of the school of Business and Economics.) Students who do not meet the minimum GPA requirements, but appear to be capable of performing well in the program, at the discretion of the admission committee may be accepted conditionally into the program. Conditional acceptance will be lifted upon the student's successful completion of his or her first semester with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Failure to achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher will result in the student being academically suspended.
The MBA Program at King College does not require GMAT scores.
To earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, each Graduate Student must:
Complete the required workshops related to six disciplines (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Leadership, Marketing, and Statistics) which will be provided in the first week of the program to provide students, regardless of their academic background, with the skill sets necessary for MBA coursework.
Complete the 36 hours of graduate level coursework.
Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) or above, and received no more than two Cs.
Pay all fees and tuition charges.
Academic Policies
All Graduate Students are subject to the Academic Policies of the King College Center for Graduate and Professional Studies.
Transfer Credit
Up to six graduate credits of "B" work or above from regionally accredited colleges or universities may be accepted in transfer toward meeting the elective requirements of the program.
Registration occurs once a student submits the $100 enrollment deposit. The student is automatically registered for required program courses by their assigned Student Support Specialist.
Orientation is held within the week prior to the first class meeting and is mandatory for all new students. Curriculum materials for the first semester and assignments for the first week are provided by the College at that time. All tuition and fees for the first semester must be paid at registration unless other arrangements have been made as detailed in the Financial Information section of this web site.
