Admissions Requirements

King College welcomes students who desire:

The BBA program is designed for adults.  Characteristics which define adulthood are:

Transfer Credit

Before graduating from King College, students will need to have completed 19 semester hours in the following disciplines:

English Composition 3 semester hours
U.S. History and/or Western Civilization 6 semester hours
Social Science (excluding History and Economics) 3 semester hours
College Mathematics 3 semester hours
Natural Science (with lab) 4 semester hours

Total Hours:

19 semester hours

Total semester hours required to earn a King College Bachelor degree: 124 (including core, major, and elective credits.) For questions concerning qualified transfer credit, please work with your Admissions Representative.

Students with 45-60 hours may apply for admission; however, they must meet with a King College academic counselor to develop a specific written plan to outline how they will complete the BBA program within a reasonable amount of time after competing the required coursework at King College.  For questions concerning qualified credit, please work with your Admission Representative.

Admission Procedure

To apply for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration program, individuals must take the following steps:

  • Submit a completed application.
  • Pay the application fee of $25.
  • Submit official transcripts (transcript request form) of all college level work from regionally accredited schools demonstrating:
    • A minimum of a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and
    • The equivalent of 60* semester hours or an Associate's degree. (Students with less than a 2.5 grade point average may be considered and accepted on a conditional basis provided they are able to demonstrate a significant rationale for why they feel they will be successful in the King College BBA program.  A student must submit a two to three page personal statement describing your goals and aspirations for pursuing the BBA program.

NOTE: Students with 45-60 hours may apply for admission; however, they must communicate with a King College academic counselor to develop a specific written plan which will outline how they will complete the BBA program within a reasonable amount of time after completing the required coursework at King College.
